Eligibility
  • Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively. For ANM/ LHV. There is no age bar.
  • Minimum education:
    • 10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with aggregrate of 45% marks.
    • Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the School recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

A Candidate seeking admission to first year Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT):

The candidate shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects.   • Shall have passed any other examination conducted by Boards / Councils / Intermediate examination established by State Government / Central Government and recognized as equivalent to a two year Pre University Examination by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences / Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. Cardiac Care Technology measures how well a heart is functioning and can monitor heart rate. Technicians here measure how well a patient’s heart is functioning. Cardiac care technicians are the medical professionals who administer various tests that assist the doctor in diagnosis.Cardiac care technicians assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular testing, where a tube is inserted into one of the blood vessels that carry blood into the heart. Once doctors insert the catheter, technicians monitor patients’ heart rates and blood pressure, looking for any signs of trouble or distress.

B.Sc. Respiratory Care Technology

Respiratory Therapists are trained to aid physicians in the evaluation, diagnosis and care of patients with cardiopulmonary problems. Such patients include those with emphysema, asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, cardiac failure and chest trauma. Therapists perform a variety of procedures such as: Giving medication and aerosol therapy, Pulmonary function tests, Oxygen therapy, Blood gas determinations, Airway management, Mechanical ventilation. Respiratory Therapists serve as members of cardiac arrest and trauma admission teams or home care providers.
